Products & Ordering
Are your helmets and props finished or painted?
We offer raw 3D printed DIY kits and props. They arrive unpainted and unfinished, so sanding, filling, priming, painting, assembly and other post processing may be required depending on the product and the finish you want. Do not fret! Finished variations are coming.... SOON.
What size are your helmet DIY kits?
Our standard helmet DIY kits are scaled to fit approximately a 24" head circumference. If you believe you need a smaller or larger size, please contact us at support@buckysemporium.com before ordering so we can discuss sizing options.
When will my order arrive?
All of our helmets and props are made to order. Please allow approximately 3–5 days for processing before shipment. Processing times may fluctuate depending on current shop volume. Shipping transit time is additional and will depend on the shipping method and carrier.
Whoa, my order arrived damaged... Now what?
We take pride in ensuring every order is packaged with love and care. In the event your order arrives damaged, please reach out to us via support@buckysemporium.com and we will work with you to find a solution.
3D Print Files
Do you sell the 3D files for any of your helmet DIY kits or prop replicas?
As of right now, we do not. It's something that we might consider in the future.
Custom 3D Printing Services
What file types do you accept for custom 3D printing?
We accept STL, 3MF, .STEP and OBJ files for custom 3D printing projects. If you're unsure whether your file is suitable for printing, send us the project details and we'll review it!
How much does custom 3D printing cost?
Every project is different so we quote each one individually. Pricing depends on factors such as material usage, print time, model size, number of parts, printing process, project complexity, cleanup requirements and shipping.
Which 3D printing material is the best?
The best material depends on your project's size, intended use, flexibility, durability, temperature exposure, and level of detail. We offer FDM materials including PLA Matte, PETG, and TPU along with high-detail resin printing. If you're unsure which material is appropriate, fill out our Contact Us form!
What is the difference between FDM and Resin 3D printing?
FDM printing is generally well suited for larger parts, cosplay helmets and armor, props, prototypes, and functional components. Resin printing is better suited for smaller projects where fine detail and surface definition are the priority such as miniatures, detailed models, intricate components and display pieces.
Do you offer finished or painted 3D prints?
Our standard service options are Print Only and Print + Basic Cleanup. Basic cleanup may include support removal, removal of obvious printing artifacts, basic surface cleanup and simple assembly where applicable. Extensive sanding, body filler, priming, painting, electronics, complex assembly or convention ready finishing are not included unless specifically discussed and quoted for your project.
